Skipper's first day at Turriff Show

As the first day of the Turriff show drew to a close, we sat back and took breath. It certainly was an action packed day with sunshine and the obligatory short sharp rain shower.

With the first two heats of ‘ready steady cook’ behind me, there is still a way to go and with one lost and the other a draw, I have definitely got to up my game today!

The wonderful smells of our fresh kippers cooking on the bbq and the bubbling pots of Cullen Skink, brought customers from all over the showground and we are set to be even busier today, which is show day.

I couldn’t resist, bringing a few boxes of my signature Langoustines with me and going by their popularity, I am going to be cooking lots more of them throughout the day!

It is now a year since I launched my Skipper’s Choice online fresh seafood delivery and for a second day, we are offering show visitors a 10% discount on orders taken. Delivering the freshest Scottish seafood from our shore to your door, in 24 hours from dispatch, is what we do best, so come and talk to the Skipper about what you would like in your fish box, when you visit the show today.
